Yeeeow Fried Pork Chop Recipe

This is a great recipe for a cold day of watching football.

Ingredients

1 cup Veggie or Corn Oil for frying
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
3/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
1 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce (or similiar)

Directions

1. Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, or until a pinch of flour sizzles in it. This is a good way to know when your oil is ready. 350-375 degrees is good if you like a more exact point of readiness.

2. In a baking dish stir together the flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and cayenne. Dredge your pork chops in this mixture.

3. Put your chops in the hot oil and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. They need to get to 150 degrees.

4. Remove the chops from the pan and drain on paper towels.

5. Pour the hot sauce into a shallow dish. Dip in your pork chops one at a time so they are nicely coated.

6. Serve and enjoy with a frosty beer! You can cut these individual cubes for snacks or serve them whole.
