1 lb boneless Chicken Breasts or pork - cut in 1" pieces and/or pork. TOO MUCH MEAT IS NEVER BAD 28 oz. canned Yellow Hominy - drained 4-oz. can chopped green chilies -- undrained or replace with fresh peppers of your choice 1 Onion - chopped up 3 cloves Garlic - minced 14 oz. can diced Tomatoes - undrained 14 oz. cans Chicken Broth 1 tsp dried Oregano 1 tsp ground Cumin 4 T fresh Cilantro 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Black Pepper

Place hominy, chili peppers, onion, garlic, chicken, tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, and cumin in a slow cooker or crockpot.
Cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high setting for 3 hours. Stir in cilantro and end. Some people like to put a dollop of sour cream on this soup when serving
