Banana Molasses Bread

2 cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup Cornmeal 1 cup Mashed Ripe Bananas (2 - 3) 1 cup Buttermilk 3/4 cup Raisins 1/2 cup Molasses 1/4 cup Honey 1 T Baking Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Salt

1. Preheat your oven to 350° & lightly grease two 4-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch loaf pans
2. Mix together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, soda and salt. Then mix in the raisins.
3. In a separate bowl mash the bananas up. When mashed, stir in the molasses, honey and buttermilk. Then add this mixture to your dry ingredients.
4. Stir until blended, don't over do it.
5. Pour into pans. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
***You can add things like walnuts to this recipe. Add things you like and make it your own special recipe. I add nutmeg or cinnamon sometimes. Sunflower seeds are an interesting twist as well.
