Rock & Roll BBQ Refried Beans

2 tsp Oil 2 Jalapenos, diced 2 Sweet Vidalia Onions, chopped 2 tsp Garlic Powder 4 (14oz) cans Black Beans or Pinto Beans, Pinto Beans give you more of a Mexican Style and Black Bea 1 can Beer

1. In a skillet saute the onions just translucent. Add the jalapenos and continue to saute until they start to brown.
2. Add the beans, 2 cans drained, and 2 cans with the juice.
3. Bring the whole thing to a boil, immediately reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours, add beer as needed. DO NOT let the beans dry out. There should be some liquid with the beans at all times. You may need to use a second can of beer depending on the simmer you have going.
4. Use a potato masher to mush up the beans and get a desired consistancy. After tasting the beans decide if you need to add salt. Canned beans contain different amounts of sodium so you be the judge.
